Midnight Mass – consecration of a new chasuble

1 January 2026 By mniszki

We began the New Year traditionally with Midnight Mass, during which we renewed our monastic vows. The concelebration was presided over by our parish priest, Fr. Adam Petakiewicz, who also consecrated the new Marian chasuble at the beginning of the liturgy, in which our chaplain, Fr. Andrzej Tulej, then celebrated Mass.

January 1st is a special date for our community, because on this day in 1688, the sisters began their perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, which continues to this day.
