Sister Maria Ignacja of the Lamb of God – Stefania Wanda Rejewska
Date and place of birth: December 29, 1898 Warsaw
Date of entry: April 20, 1923
Date of profession: October 25, 1924 (temporary), October 26, 1927 (perpetual).

  • at the age of 12 she converted from Calvinism
  • graduated from the 4th grade of the private Maria Tolwinska Scientific Institute in Warsaw
  • worked as a typist-stenographer at Lambert and Krzysiak in Gdansk and as a bookkeeper at the United Pharmacy and Perfumery Warehouse K. Jaroszewski and Company
  • from August 1, 1919 to October 15, 1920 – member of the hidden Congregation of the Servant Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
  • made a private vow of humility
  • writings: spiritual notes Thoughts – enlightenments – elevations of the heart
