The central service of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which runs under the slogan: “Justice, and only justice, you shall pursue …”, was held in our church.
The service, chaired by Cardinal Nycz, was attended by, among others, the head of the Evangelical-Methodist Church in Poland – Bishop Andrzej Malicki, president of the Ecumenical Council of the Polish Bishops’ Conference – Bishop Krzysztof Nitkiewicz, Bishop Marek Izdebski from the Evangelical-Reformed Church, Bishop Bernard Kubicki from the Old Catholic Mariavites Church in Poland, Rev. Marian Madziar from the Polish Catholic Church, Director of the Polish Ecumenical Council Rev. Grzegorz Giemza and Rev. deacon Łukasz Leonkiewicz from the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church.
