The solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a special day for us, when all the communities of our Institute renew the act of dedication to the Mother of God and her election for the Perpetual Abbess of each monastery.
O Mother of sweetness and love, it is through you that we hope for the gift of perseverance day and night in Perpetual Adoration, and that a small spark of the fire that consumed your most holy heart will consume ours, like holocausts sacrificed to Jesus on our altars to do here on earth what the blessed do in glory.
